Compared with other non-magnetic porcelain sealing alloys, Expanded alloy 4J78 Plate has low magnetic permeability and low expansion coefficient, so it is called non-magnetic constant expansion porcelain sealing alloy. Adding small amounts of copper to the alloy can improve its processability. It has moderate linear thermal expansion coefficient in the range from room temperature to 600°C, no magnetic corrosion, and high strength and toughness.
