65MN High Manganese Steel Wire

After heat treatment and cold drawing hardening, 65MN manganese steel wire has high strength, certain toughness and plasticity; under the same surface condition and complete hardening, the fatigue limit is equivalent to that of alloy springs. However, it has poor hardenability and is mainly used for smaller-sized springs, such as pressure-regulating and speed-regulating springs, force-measuring springs, round and square spiral springs on general machinery, or springs drawn into steel wires for small machinery.
