Inconel 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum, copper, and titanium. The chemical composition of this nickel steel alloy is designed to provide excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. It is similar to Alloy 800 but has improved resistance to water corrosion. It has excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and localized attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion.
