Incoloy800 wire is a Fe-Ni-Cr based solid solution strengthened deformed high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloy. It is used below 1000°C. Incoloy800 has excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and good process performance, good structural stability, and good processing and welding performance. It is easy to form using both hot and cold processing, and is suitable for making parts under harsh corrosive media conditions and requiring high temperature and long-term operation.

Incoloy 800 wireis widely used in the manufacture of stress corrosion resistant equipment, replacing 18-8 austenitic steel, and is used in the power industry for pressurized water reactor evaporators, high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, sodium-cooled fast reactor heat exchangers and superheated steam pipes. In the chemical industry, it is used in HNO3 coolers, acetic anhydride cracking tubes, and various heat exchange equipment.
