Entering September, the downstream demand for stainless steel seamless pipes began to pick up. The seasonal decline in the market demand for subsequent seamless pipes has ended.
In August, our company signed a contract with a Guyana customer. Customers demand 316L stainless steel seamless pipes of 117.1*2.31mm, 21.3*2.77mm, 26.7*2.87mm, and 33.4*3.38mm. In terms of product size, it tends to be 6 meters fixed.

From January to May 2024, the cumulative export volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was about 265,800 tons, an increase of 26,300 tons year-on-year, an increase of 11%. From January to May 2024, the cumulative import volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was about 25,500 tons, a decrease of 2,100 tons year-on-year, a decrease of 8%. The export end is still relatively resilient, which supports the price of stainless steel seamless pipes.
